IWC Watches at Watches & Wonders
At the exhibition Watches & Wonders, held from 25 to 28 September in Hong Kong, the famous watch company IWC Schaffhausen presents four new models. The collection of watches is devoted to the 70th anniversary of the Antoine de Saint- Exupery’s “The Little Prince." The first model Big Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar Edition “Le Petit Prince” (Ref. IW502802), released a limited edition of 270 items, presented in a 46 mm rose gold. The novelty operates on the base of the manufacturing mechanism 51613 with the Pellatona self-winding system and a 7- day power reserve. The rotor is engraved with the original title of the first edition of “Le Petit Prince”.

The second novelty, released in 1000 items, called Pilot's Watch Mark XVII Edition “Le Petit Prince” is devoted to the legendary tale. The small star on the second’s hand points to the link with the literary work. Water resistance - 6 bar. The novelty operates on the base of the automatic caliber 30110 with a 42-hour power reserve. The stainless steel back is engraved with the image of the Little Prince.

The third model - Portofino Hand-Wound Big Date, equipped with a large date at 12 o’clock. The model is assembled based on the mechanism of 59230, which was collected on the base of the caliber 59,000. Power reserve - 192 hours. The mechanism is set in a round white gold case. Portofino Hand-Wound Big Date watch
The last novelty Portuguese Hand-Wound Eight Days has a round case in rose gold with a silver dial, Arabic numerals and thin hands. The timepiece with red numeral 60 on the second’s scale functions on the base of the manufacturing caliber 59215 with a 192- hour power reserve. The model is also available in stainless steel with a black or silver dial.
