A New Pilot's Watch by IWC
On the eve of the watch exhibition SIHH-2012, which will be held this month, the famous company IWC in advance has announced an exhibition novelty. Inside the Pilot Chronograph Top Gun Miramar is installed a manufactory automatic movement 89 365, which replaced the previously installed in the pilot's IWC chronographs caliber ETA Valjoux 7750. The new mechanism has 168 hours of power reserve. Second hand is put to a small dial in the "12 o'clock" position. Date aperture is located at "3 o'clock" position - extended to the sector, showing just three numbers. It seems illogical, but it is often very important to "peek" for example, the following number at the end of the month: the 31st or 1st? The hands of the flyback-chrono are the central second and minute hands on a small dial at "6 o'clock" position.
The new pilot's watch IWC Pilot Chronograph Top Gun Miramar watch is delivered on a tissue khaki strap with a buckle made of titanium. The information about the new item price has not yet been granted.
