Spitfire Perpetual Calendar Laureus Special Edition by IWC
Each year the legendary watchmaker IWC, which is a staunch supporter of the program Laureus Sport for Good (the Fund's Laureus), beginning in 2009, produces a special watch, on the back of which is engraved children's drawings.
Although this year the brand IWC has already released the original Portofino Chronograph Blue watch for Laureus Foundation, it also recently participated in a Laureus Switzerland charity to collect donations. The brand donated a single instance of Pilot model with perpetual calendar to the fund.

The Foundation has collected more than 350,000 Euros, while the watch made an impressive amount of 116 000 Euros.
The watch is based on the IWC Spitfire Perpetual Calendar watch. The difference is in the Laureus traditional blue color and a case with a diameter of 46 mm. The case is made of platinum. Transparent window on the backside of the case allows you to monitor the rotor of the caliber with a Spitfire silhouette, engraved inscription «Laureus Charity Night Zurich 2012" and a serial number.
