New Pilot’s Watch Chronograph TOP GUN (Ref. IW388001) by IWC at the SIHH 2012

Top Gun graduates become the part of the flight elite of the U.S. that combines bold pilots with excellent training. The round black case of the model with a diameter of 46 mm and a thickness of 16.5 mm is made of ceramic. The black dial of the novelty is made in the classic style, reminiscent of an aircraft instrument panel with a date in the form of an altimeter, located at the 3 o’clock position. Central hands - hour and minute, are covered with fluorescent material, and the second hand is made in bright red colors in the form of a fighter. With a black dial background harmoniously fit white Arabic numerals coated with luminous coating that allows knowing the time in all conditions. Chronograph counters are located at the 12 and 6 o’clock positions. The counter at the 6 o’clock position is equipped with a small red pointer, and the counter, located at the 12 o’clock position – with a white pointer. The dial is protected by a convex double-sided antiglare sapphire crystal with 9 by the Mohs hardness scale. Glass is protected from pressure drops in the cockpit and is resistant to scratches. The model is equipped with a function of flyback, allowing chronograph reset and start a new dimension by a single touch of a button. The crown and chronograph pushers are made of titanium.
The watch is delivered on a black textile strap with a buckle made of stainless steel with sandblasting. The watch water resistant - 6 bar.
The chronograph is equipped with automatic manufactory self-winding mechanism 89 365 on 35 jewels, with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, power reserve is 68 hours.
