Depancel’s Autosport Les 2 Tours d’Horloge, reference WA05AAN2TH.MCYNN1A on a pin-buckle strap, adapts a calendar subdial to record the hours of an endurance race. The edition accompanies the historic-car event at Circuit Paul Ricard on November 7–8. According to Monochrome, sales opened on November 5.

A race counter advanced by hand

The display at three o’clock carries two numbered sequences: 1–12 and 13–24. Pressing the corrector after each completed hour moves its hand forward. The wearer therefore records the race’s progress manually, using the same mechanism that ordinarily indicates the month on the 1–12 scale.

Across the dial, the weekday display highlights Saturday and Sunday in yellow. The central seconds hand uses the same color, while a date aperture sits at six o’clock. Brushed sectors surround textured subdials, and a minute track runs around the perimeter. C1 Super-LumiNova marks the hands and applied hour indices.

Calendar movement and racing details

The automatic movement retains day, date and month functions. Monochrome reports a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and a stop-seconds mechanism. Visible through the back, its rotor bears three stars in the French national colors, while the caseback crystal carries the race logo.

A polished bezel surrounds a double-domed sapphire crystal. Circular brushing follows the upper lugs; horizontal brushing covers the case sides, with polished edges above them. The perforated leather strap uses yellow stitching, and a steel beads-of-rice bracelet is also offered.
