IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph Laureus: The 2026 Edition for Laureus Sport for Good

Every year since 2006, IWC Schaffhausen has released a special edition with a blue dial in support of the Laureus Sport for Good foundation. The 2026 model is the Pilot's Watch Chronograph Laureus (Ref. IW378010), limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide.

IWC and Laureus

IWC has been a Global Partner of Laureus Sport for Good since 2005. The foundation was set up in 2000 under the patronage of Nelson Mandela, who famously said that "sport has the power to change the world". Today it supports more than 290 programmes in over 36 countries that use sport to help children and young people.

This year IWC highlights one of them: Futbalo Girls, a free football programme for girls in Germany run by the non-profit "Integration durch Sport und Bildung e.V." It started as a pilot project in Oldenburg and now reaches more than 1,500 participants every week; older girls are trained to become coaches themselves.

Laureus blue

As with every Laureus edition, the dial is in "Laureus blue". It is combined with silver-plated subdials, rhodium-plated hands with Super-LumiNova® and white printed hour markers and numerals. The chronograph totalisers at 9 and 12 o'clock record stopped times of up to 12 hours; the small seconds sit at 6 o'clock and a day-date window at 3 o'clock. The steel case back ring is engraved with the foundation's name.

Steel case and in-house chronograph

The 43 mm stainless steel case houses the IWC-manufactured calibre 69385, a mechanical column-wheel chronograph with bidirectional pawl winding and a 46-hour power reserve. The movement, decorated with circular graining and Geneva stripes, is visible through a sapphire case back. The watch comes on a five-link stainless steel bracelet with IWC's tool-free EasX-CHANGE® system.
