Jaeger-LeCoultre Introduces Master Ultra Thin Moon in Pink Gold

Jaeger-LeCoultre announced a new Master Ultra Thin Moon in pink gold on 19 October 2026. The watch (Ref. Q1242521) has a 36 mm case in 18-carat pink gold, only 9.3 mm thick, a silver sunray-brushed dial with a moon-phase display and the automatic calibre 925. The price is CHF 19,800.

A smaller case within the Master Ultra Thin family

The official announcement describes a smaller case with polished surfaces, a refined bezel and curved lugs. These details continue the visual approach of the Master Ultra Thin collection, which uses restrained dial layouts and relatively slim cases to place the mechanical display at the centre of the design.

Pink gold changes the character of the case without altering the basic function of the moon-phase indication. The material is identified by the manufacturer as 18K pink gold, corresponding to a fineness of 750 parts per thousand.

The moon-phase display

A moon-phase complication tracks the changing visible portion of the Moon through a rotating indication on the dial. Unlike a date display, which advances through a numbered calendar, a moon-phase indication is tied to a repeating astronomical cycle. It has long been used in traditional mechanical dress watches and remains one of the principal displays within the Master Ultra Thin family.

The Master Ultra Thin line also includes models with date and other complications. The Moon version is distinguished by the integration of its lunar display into an otherwise restrained dial, rather than the addition of several separate subdials.
