New Reverso Répétition Minutes à Rideau Watch by Jaeger-LeCoultre at SIHH-2012
At the Geneva watch exhibiton SIHH-2012 the Swiss brand Jaeger-LeCoultre has introduced a new version of the wristwatch Reverso Répétition Minutes à Rideau, devoted to the 80th anniversary of the legendary Reverso. The novelty is released in two versions: Ref. Q2353520 and Ref. Q235352M (version "Venise").
The elegant rectangular case is made of 18K white gold. The case dimensions are 55 mm x 35 mm x 14.14 mm. The front side of the case and the case back of the models are equipped with a sapphire crystal. The watch water-resistant is up to 30 meters.
Gorgeous dial is perfectly trimmed and skeletonized. The minute repeater mechanism and the bridges of the caliber are covered with ruthenium. The dial, located on the back panel, is also skeletonized. At the back of the watch "Venise" is set the skeletonized dial, which consists of the minute repeater mechanism and bridges of blue gold.
The novelty is based on the manufacturing Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 944 with manual winding. The mechanism on the 35 jewels includes of 340 components. The thickness of the caliber is 5.89 mm. Two winding barrels, set in the caliber, provide a 35-hour power reserve. The carrying frequency of the mechanism is 21 600 vph.
Hour display functions of hours and minutes are carried out by means of the appropriate central hands on both sides of the case and with a minute repeater. The mechanism itself is decorated and perfectly trimmed by hand.
The Reverso Répétition Minutes à Rideau watch has been tested on a 1000-hour control system.
The model is available in an alligator leather strap, fitted with a buckle in white gold.
The novelty with Ref. Q2353520 is released in a limited edition of 75 instances and with Ref. Q235352M in 8 instances.
