Jaeger-LeCoultre and its new wristwatch Master Eight Days Perpetual 40
The watch company Jaeger-LeCoultre has satisfied its fans with a new watch model Master Eight Days Perpetual 40, executed in the elegant case of 18K pink gold.
The ideal round bezel, also made of pink gold, in the combination with a gold crown underlines the perfect design of the novelty. The case diameter is relatively insignificant - 40 mm. The case on the top is equipped with a sapphire crystal. The sapphire crystal also serves as a transparent case back through which one can observe the evolution of the mechanism.
The novelty is based on the manufacturing JLC caliber 876-440B with manual winding. The mechanism is handcrafted and perfectly decorated. The mechanism is complicated by a double barrels system, providing a powerful reserve of 192 hours (8 days).
The silver dial is modified by the central hour and minute hands and hour markers in rose gold. At the 1 o’clock position there is an indicator of the day / night, a small window of which is painted in red between the time periods from 10 pm to 3 am. Similarly, the "smart" watch prompts the owner about the period of time, when in changing the date the movement may be injured.
On the dial of Master Eight Days Perpetual 40 at the mark 9 hour there is a round hand-type pointer of the week days, combined with the moon phase indicator. The circular date aperture is at the position of 3 hour. The month pointer is located at 6 hour, and the year indicator is located between 7 and 8 hours. The indicator of the power reserve is set at the position of the 11 hour. Mechanically programmed perpetual calendar needn’t be required in manual adjustments up to 2100.
The watch water resistant is up to 5 ATM. The novelty comes on a brown leather strap.
