Jaeger-LeCoultre Rescued 790 000 dollars at the auction (RED)
Watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre at a charity auction (RED), which is organized by Bono, has achieved a great success. On November 23, at Sotheby`s sold two models produced by Jonathan Ive and Mark Newson in a single copy.

Designers have become curators of the auction, on which 44 lots was put up. These included products of modern art, rare cars and watches. Each instance has been improved by the designers Ive and Newson: a red Fiat 600 Jolly, a red leather saddle Hermès, a rare bottle of champagne 1966 Dom Pérignon, Apple headphones in pink gold, a red Steinway grand piano, etc.

The watches by Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos 561 were sold for 425,000 dollars, and the model Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea - for 365 000 dollars.
The auction profit was 12.883 million dollars, along with a donation from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the total amount of 26.2 million dollars.
