The masters of the watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre tried to recreate on the dark blue dial a stunning illusion of the night sky. On it are shown the zodiacal constellations with their names and the asterisk indicating the desired constellation. Heavenly disk makes one revolution every 23 hours, 56 minutes and 04 seconds and shows the position of the constellations at any time of year. The upper part of the dial is made in the asymmetric shape of a crescent; it highlighted the large applied Arabic numerals.
