Special prize of Jaeger-LeCoultre at the Venice Film Festival got Spike Lee
This year at the Venice Film Festival, a special prize, established by Jaeger-LeCoultre for the contribution and development of world cinema, awarded a director Spike Lee. Within the Venice Film Festival on August 31 awards ceremony was organized under the leadership of Paolo Baratta. The organizer of the festival is the Biennale di Venezia.
The official ceremony was part of the extended premiere documentary films “Bad 25”. Spike Lee devoted the film to the 25th anniversary album “Bad” signed by Michael Jackson.
Spike Lee got his own version of the cult watch Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, on the back engraved with a special inscription.

In his speech, Director of the Venice Film Festival, Alberto Barbera said: "Spike Lee makes the viewer look at a different view on their own prejudices. Spike Lee - the rare nature, the author of daring, bold and unpredictable movies."
Awards Glory to the Filmmaker of Jaeger-LeCoultre awarded in previous years, Al Pacino (2011), Agnes Varda (2008), Abbas Kiarostami (2008), Takeshi Kitano (2007), and also Silvester Stallone (2009) and Mani Ratnam (2010).
