Jean Dujardin prefers Jaeger-LeCoultre
Recently received a well-known award Oscar for the best men’s role the French actor Jean Dujardin preferred to all other brands the watches Jaeger-LeCoultre. It was they who adorned his wrist at the 84th Annual Oscars Academy Award.
His superb costume the actor added with the wristwatch Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea, representing a re-release of the world's first chronograph for divers having a sound signal. The watch is cult among connoisseurs of art chronometric. To get to his collection Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea managed only a few lucky persons - the watch has been issued in a limited edition of 959 items.
This model was introduced at the SIHH-2012. For the first time the Deep Sea watch was issued in 1959. Alarm in the model was provided in order to effectively prevent the onset time of divers ascend to the surface - because the beauty of the ocean can distract from the continuous tracking of the time.
In 2011, the company Jaeger-LeCoultre was re-released this model. The two versions - 959 items for the European market, 359 copies for the United States. These versions are distinguished from each other by design of the black dial. In the rest the watches are almost identical: 40.5-millimeter stainless steel, the glass from Plexiglas (in the style of 1959) and an automatic mechanism 956 inside controlling the movement of the central hands, as well as setting the time of the underwater alarm. The power reserve of the model is 45 hours. On the case back of the watch is engraved the image of the diver in flippers and spear in his left hand. Waterproof of the model is 100 meters.
The actor’s love to the famous watch brand, it seems, is shared by his other half. The wife of Jean Dujardin was at the Oscar’s ceremony in a wristwatch Joaillerie, which shone with 106th diamonds. This is a vintage model on the white gold bracelet in platinum.
