Duometre a Quantieme Lunaire - a new version by Jaeger-LeCoultre
In the middle of this year, the watch company Jaeger-LeCoultre released the Duometre a Quantieme Lunaire: 42mm diameter, in white gold with black dial. Now the company introduces a new version of Duometre a Quantieme Lunaire - now this watch has a slightly smaller diameter and lighter dial.
Officially, the new watch Duometre a Quantieme Lunaire will be presented at the upcoming Geneva exhibition SIHH 2012 in January. The case of the novelty is made of pink gold, with a diameter of 40.5 mm. The dial this time is light - matt, white with gold numerals and hour markers.
The watch thanks to the manufacturing caliber 381has a system of Dual-Wing. That is, mechanism has two winding drums with power reserve of 50 hours each. One drum provides with energy to watch themselves, and the second - the trigger. The first reel is put counter-clockwise, and the second - when you turn the head clockwise. So you will not harm the mechanism by turning the crown in the wrong direction.
The unique timing mechanism 381 consists of 369 parts, 40 jewels. The diameter of the balance wheel is 10 mm, and the frequency of vph is 3 Hz.
Hours and minutes are displayed on a small dial on the right side at the marks "2 and 3." Seconds are counted only by the massive central hand.
And at the "6 o'clock" is set the "jumping" second hand, makes a complete rotation every 6 seconds. A date and moon phase’s pointer is located on the left side of the dial. At the "5 and 6" there are two reserve indicators, remaining in each of the two winding drums.
The watch water-resistant is up to 50 meters.
The watch is delivered on a brown alligator strap, having a clasp in rose gold.
The watch is available for 32 500 euros.
The new version Duometre a Quantieme Lunaire will be an excellent choice for fans of model that enjoy less strict and gloomy look. Indeed, earlier the watch had a black dial and contrasting white case, and now a more classic form: a bright white dial and delicate gold case. In other respects the model has remained absolutely unchanged from the previous release.
