Spinning globe on your wrist - the original novelty by Jaeger-LeCoultre

The popular watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre, known worldwide for its exclusive watches models, represents a new Duomètre Unique Travel Time watch.
The gorgeous model is equipped by a new 383 caliber with manual winding, which was created by the masters of the brand Jaeger-LeCoultre. The mechanism, with a diameter of 34.3 mm and thickness - 7.25 mm, is manufactured, assembled and decorated by hand. The caliber consists of 498 components, assembled by 54 stones, has a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and two winding barrels, providing a 80-hour power reserve.

The winding dual system separates caliber into two parts, the first of which provides an indication of the local time, and the second is responsible for the second time zone. Each mechanism has its own power source, which eliminates the possibility of errors in the display because of the interaction. The caliber performs the work of two power-reserve indicator, and a world time function, which is represented by a spinning globe at the 6 o’clock position.
The model Duomètre Unique Travel Time has a round case with a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 13.65 mm in white gold. The watch water resistant - 5 ATM.

The silver dial of the novelty with a grainy pattern features a large central hand and two symmetrically arranged indicators at the 2 and 10 o’clock position. The first of these is provided to indicate hours and minutes, and the second - for the time display in the second time zone. The date aperture is posted into the indicator at the 10 o’clock position.
The sleek novelty comes on a strap in black alligator leather with a buckle-pin in white gold. The model Duomètre Unique Travel Time is released in a limited edition - 100 items, which will be on sale from November 20. The unlimited series will be presented by the brand Jaeger-LeCoultre in 2013 at the exhibition SIHH in Geneva.
