SIHH-2014: Tank Louis Cartier Skeleton Sapphire by Cartier

At the last Geneva exhibition SIHH- 2014, the watch company Cartier has introduced a new skeletonized timepiece Tank Louis Cartier Skeleton Sapphire, which combines an extraordinary design and technical excellence. A sapphire glass, mounted on the front side of the case and on the back cover, opens to eyes the caliber metal parts, thereby creating a floating effect.
The Tank Louis Cartier Skeleton Sapphire is enclosed in a case of 18K white gold with dimensions of 30 x 39, 2 mm. At the 3 o`clock position is placed the crown of 18K white gold with a grainy finish and blue sapphire cabochon on the top. The central sword-shaped hands are made of blued steel.

The novelty is based on the skeletonized hand-wound caliber 9616 MC, on the 21 jewels. Assembled from 159 components, the individually numbered caliber has a balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations / hour and 3 - day power reserve. The caliber functions: hours, minutes, and small seconds.
Water-resistant - 30 meters.
The watch comes on a black alligator strap, equipped with a double adjustable deployant buckle in 18K white gold. To buy the Tank Louis Cartier Skeleton Sapphire watch by Cartier is available in a case of 18K white gold at a price of 40,000 Euros, with diamonds - 60 000 Euros.
