SIHH- 2014: Cartier Presents Rotonde de Cartier Astrocalendaire Timepiece
At the annual exhibition SIHH 2014, to be held in January, in Geneva, the famous manufactory Cartier will officially unveil its new unique model Rotonde de Cartier Astrocalendaire. The novelty is characterized by the complexity as a perpetual calendar with the original display system.

The polished round watchcase, whose diameter is 45 mm, and thickness - 15.7 mm, is made of platinum. Placed at the 3 o’clock position, the crown is equipped with a blue sapphire cabochon.
The silver dial is engraved, equipped with additional dials, blued hands to indicate hours and minutes. At the 6 o’clock position are placed the alphanumeric pointers of day, month and date in the form of concentric rotating rings, which are available from the center to the periphery. They surround the carriage of the "flying" tourbillon. The analog pointer of the leap year is set on one of the mechanism’s bridges on the backside. On the front side of the case and its screwed back cover is installed a sapphire crystal.

The Rotonde de Cartier Astrocalendaire watch operates on the base of the manufacturing automatic mechanism Cartier 9459 MC, 53 jewels, with functions of hours, minutes, day, month, date and leap year.
The novelty comes on a black alligator strap with a platinum buckle.
The watch is released in a limited edition of 100 items.
