Concept by Cartier - Astrotourbillon Carbon Crystal

Recently, the famous house Cartier has introduced a unique novelty, which has struck not only fans of the company, but also watch connoisseurs and experts around the world. You surely remember the concept ID Two, which caused quite a stir, but disappointed all expectations since it was announced that the concept did not go on sale. However, the company did not disappoint his fans, almost immediately announcing a limited edition of the concept watch Cartier Astrotourbillon Carbon Crystal.

It should be noted, that the Cartier Astrotourbillon Carbon Crystal watch has originally launched about two years ago.
Conceptual watch is based on the manufacturing caliber of Cartier, with the escapement on the periphery of the rotary dial, as an indicator of seconds (almost second’s hand).
Concept Cartier Astrotourbillon Carbon Crystal is presented in 47-millimeter case made from niobium-titanium.
Clarity and courage of the image of the concept is emphasized with the use of gray and white shades. Bright hands and Roman time indexes provide legibility of the dial.

The central part of the dial "exposes" the heart of the mechanism, which is made by unique technology. First, we note that in the bridges of the tourbillon uses hydrocarbon crystal (a proper name for a Cartier diamond-coated silicone). In addition, this material is used in the escapement wheel and component parts.
Company representatives have announced that they will release only 50 items of the Cartier Astrotourbillon Carbon Crystal watch.
The price of the original product has not yet determined, however, in all probability to buy a watch will be available not less than $ 100,000.
