New Cadran Lové Tourbillon by Cartier
The watchmaker Cartier has announced the release of a new men's wrist watch Cadran Lové Tourbillon, which will be officially launched in January 2012 at SIHH in Geneva.
The novelty is assembled on the base of manufactured innovation with the usage of interesting designs in appearance. Caliber 9458, set into the case of the model, is actually an updated version of an already existing tourbillon, which was used in the model of women's watches Alligator Tourbillon, presented at SIHH 2011.
The case of the novelty is made of white gold, which underlines with its silvery sheen the restrained character of the self-confident man. The case is also impressive with its massive diameter of 46.2 mm. The front side of the case is protected by a sapphire crystal. The crown is decorated with beading around the circumference, and the top is inlaid with a blue sapphire. The watch water-resistant is up to 30 meters.
The complicated caliber 9458, which provides the reliable action, consists of 167 components. The mechanism is paved with 19 stones and has a 50-hour power reserve. The carrying frequency of the caliber is 21 600 caliber vph. Tourbillon presents itself a "floating tourbillon" - a unique complication, which is like hovering over the dial. A similar visual effect is achieved by placing the tourbillon cage on the bridges. The caliber is marked by Geneva Seal.
The central hours, minutes and seconds hands index time on the dial. Hourly indices are performed in a manner characteristic of Cartier: they are carved in the form of large Roman numerals. The brutal image of the central dial is rounded out with the blued hands.
The black alligator strap of the model is equipped with clasp in white gold.
The novelty will be released in a limited quantity of 100 copies.
