SIHH 2014: Cartier Tortue Timepiece Revival
The model Tortue, which appeared first in 1912, later became one of the most popular Cartier watches along with models such as the Tonneau, Baignoire and Crash. It is heritage, which the new Tortue watch interprets with a charming femininity.

Clean lines, a wide dial, a flawless form and elegance are the standard style. Elegance of the watch is emphasized by a domed case with flat fine faces. The new Tortue watch has guilloche dials with Roman numerals, hour and minute hands. The models, equipped with a manual winding mechanism, are available in different sizes of white or pink gold. There are also versions with diamonds. Leather straps or bracelets with flat links of white or pink gold complement the image of the Tortue watch.
