Award Ceremony named after F.A. Lange 2012

In December 2012, the third award ceremony named F.A. Lange - Watchmaking Excellence Award, established by the watch company A. Lange & Söhne. 36 participants were invited, who attend the watch schools from all over the world. Only eight of them - watchmakers from Germany, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, the USA and the Netherlands - were selected.

Candidates for four months were to create a date indicator, based on the ETA 6498 caliber. Seven of the projects were submitted to the jury in November. The jury award was given to 24-year-old Benny R. L. Hernandez from Texas (USA) and 29-year-old Daniel Neugebauer from Munich. For the developed date indicators, they received 5,000 Euros.
