Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar watch by A.Lange & Sohne
The new Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar watch combines two classic complications and iconic design of the legendary collection of A. Lange & Söhne. The scale with hour and minute hands surrounds indicators of the calendar mechanism together with the ring of the month pointer on the periphery. Tourbillon is located at the 12 o`clock position, which can be seen through the sapphire window mounted on the backside of the case. The patented construction of the second`s hand stops instantly the balance course within the tourbillon carriage once the crown is removed to progress the hand. Thus, the time is set to the second`s accuracy.
The massive rotor is made of 21 - carat gold. The platinum segment is located on the periphery of the rotor, increases the efficiency of the watch winding, and eventually a 50- hour power reserve is typed after a short period of time when the watch is put on hand. The unique caliber is also perfectly trimmed. The bridges of the tourbillion are hand engraved and screwed by six gold chatons.
