Record of A. Lange & Sohne at Sotheby's
Watch brand A. Lange & Sohne has set three price records at the recent bid of the auction Sotheby's Important Watches, held on 6 October in Hong Kong.
The first record was the sale of a set of two watches Grand Lange 1 Luna Mundi for 93 750 euros. Watches are made of white and pink gold have the pointers of lunar phases for the southern and northern hemispheres. This kit was created in 2003 in limited edition of 101 copies.

So as a result of trading on 40% more expensive than the original price the model Lange Zeitwerk in white gold has been sold. They has left for 65 000 euros. The uniqueness of this model lies in the fact that Lange Zeitwerk is the first mechanical watch with the jumping time display.

And even more - 45% more expensive than the initial price - Sotheby's has helped out a wristwatch 1815 Moonphase Homage to F.A.Lange. They are sold for 26 300 euros. Watches were issued in 2010 as part of the jubilee collection dedicated to the 165th anniversary of the day, when the watch manufactory A. Lange & Sohne was founded.
