A. Lange & Söhne Marks 20 Years of the Datograph Perpetual with a Platinum Bracelet Edition

A. Lange & Söhne has presented a new limited edition of the Datograph Perpetual, its chronograph with perpetual calendar. The Ref. 410.136E combines a 950 platinum case with a matching five-row platinum bracelet and a black dial set with baguette diamonds. Only 50 pieces will be made, and the price is on request.
Twenty years of the Datograph Perpetual
The first Datograph Perpetual appeared in 2006, seven years after the original Datograph of 1999. It was followed by a white gold version in 2009. The new edition marks the model's 20th anniversary and was released on 24 October – the date on which, in 1994, the re-established Saxon manufacture presented its first collection.
Diamonds on a black dial
The dial has a black finish with rhodium-plated sub-dials. Eleven baguette-cut diamonds serve as hour markers: there are none at 4 and 8 o'clock, and two sit side by side at 12 o'clock. The bracelet, in platinum with brushed and polished links, closes with a platinum deployant buckle.
The L952.1 calibre
The watch is powered by the manually wound calibre L952.1, made of 556 parts. It drives a flyback chronograph and a perpetual calendar with Lange's outsize date, day of the week, month, leap year, a day/night indicator and moon phases. The calendar will not need to be corrected until 1 March 2100.
