New Tourbillon Bi-Axial Tantalum 3 Sapphire Bridges Timepiece by Girard-Perregaux
Swiss watchmaker Girard-Perregaux announces the release of a new limited edition model Tourbillon Bi-Axial Tantalum 3 Sapphire Bridges.
The watch is provided in a circular case in a diameter of 45 mm made of tantalum – a gray-blue resistant metal, which is used in chemical, electronic and aerospace industries. The watch water resistant - 30 meters.

In the central part of the dial, there are two large hands to display hours and minutes. At the 6 o’clock position is a two-axis tourbillon, consisting of 110 components and weighs 0.80 grams. The tourbillon combines two concentric carriages, the inner of which makes a complete revolution around its axis in 45 seconds, and the external - up to 1 minute and 15 seconds. Rotation occurs in two separate axes.
An anti-reflective sapphire crystal is installed on the top of the body and on its back cover.
The original novelty Tourbillon Bi-Axial Tantalum 3 Sapphire Bridges is collected on the base of the manufacturing Swiss movement with manual winding GP07-0002. The caliber is assembled on the 28 jewels, equipped with a frequency 21,600 vibrations per hour and a 70-hour power reserve. Bridges of the mechanism are made of sapphire.
