Novelties by Girard-Perregaux

The company Girard-Perregaux has announced sporty watch models Sea Hawk and Chrono Hawk with a modern dynamic design. In the novelties are used securely in almost all emergencies the innovative case construction.
Sea Hawk – is a diver's watch with a large angular case in satin stainless steel (diameter - 44mm). The dial is in the form of a honeycomb, giving transparency and lightness to a massive structure. The disc finish is profitably highlighted by the overhead hour markers and hands coated with phosphor composition of white. The dial is characterized by multi-level display: hours and minutes are shown by the central hands, the pointer of seconds is displayed on the small lateral dial, located at the 10 o'clock position, date aperture is between one and two o'clock, and the power reserve indicator – at the 6 o’clock position.

The novelty is designed to meet the requirements for diver’s watches: easy reading, the presence of a unidirectional diving bezel, helium escape valve, screw-in back cover and, of course, sealed case design, allowing diving to a depth of 1000 meters. Screw-in crown featuring brand’s logo on the top is located on the side of the case at the 4 o'clock.
The watch is designed on the basis of an automatic mechanism GP3300 by 27 jewels. The frequency of oscillation of the balance is 28,800 pcs / hour (4 Hz), power reserve - 46 hours.

There are two versions of the Sea Hawk - with black dial (Ref. 49960-19-631-FK6A) and gray (Ref. 49960-11-131-FK6A).It is also released a limited version of the watch Ref.49960-19-1218SGD1A.
The second novelty Hawk Chrono is also presented in several versions - with black dial (Ref. 49970-11-231-HD6A) and with light (Ref. 49970-11-131-HDBA).

The case diameter of 44 mm is made of brushed stainless steel. Between the angular case and the round bezel is set an octagonal rubber ring. Rubber inserts are also available in flat pushers of the chronograph and the crown.
The perfectly balanced, proportional dial with a high degree of readability is finished by a honeycomb pattern. The monotony of disc is brightened by a central second’s hand with orange tip and an orange hand of the chronograph.

The watch is equipped by a manufacturing caliber GP3300, the work of which can be observed through the transparent case back. The mechanism with a carrying frequency 28800 pc / h (4 Hz) and a 46-hour power reserve is based on the 61 jewels and is equipped with an indication of hours, minutes (by means of the central hands), second (additional small dial, located at 3 o’clock position) date (aperture at 6 o'clock) and chronograph (central second’s hand and 30-minute counter at 9 o'clock).
