A New WW.TC Lady Shopping 'Mondo Exploris' Limited Edition by Girard-Perregaux
The watchmaker Girard-Perregaux in conjunction with a glamorous magazine «CAESAR» has presented a new women’s watch WW.TC Lady Shopping "Mondo Exploris" (ref. 49860D11A778SBA6A) in a limited edition of 4 items. The novelty is specially designed for a charming lady who adores shopping.
The new watch is complicated by the global control function of time, but in a very unusual form. At the periphery the dial is marked by not the names of cities that are in different time zones, but the names of famous shopping centers in Paris, New York, Tokyo and Moscow. The refined dial is encrusted with eight diamonds alternating with soft elegant patterns. The perfect image of the watch is completed by the bezel with 54 diamonds, dazzling glare of which are reflected in the polished surface of the steel case.
The watch case from the stainless steel has a diameter of 41 mm and a thickness of 11 mm. On the steel side of the case back is engraved the name of the watch AE & Mondo Exploris, and the case back itself is made of sapphire glass, screwed into the case with the 6 blued screws. The model’s water-resistant is up to 5 ATM.
The white mother of pearl dial features applied Arabic numerals and 9 round diamonds weighing at 0.12 carats. The dial is equipped with two rotating 24-hour zone rings in white and gray. An external disk with 24 city names is printed by «CAESAR» and decorated with 15 round diamonds weighing at 0.18 carats.
The skeletonized central hour and minute hands are leaf-shaped. The dial is modified by the pointers of a small second hand, power reserve and global time with day/night.
The novelty is designed based on the manufacturing mechanical automatic mechanism Girard-Perregaux GP033G0. The caliber on 27 stones has a 46-hour power reserve and a balance frequency of 28,800 vph.
The main plate is decorated with circular-grained trim, and the rotor and bridges are decorated with a Côtes de Genève pattern.
The novelty comes on a black alligator strap with a folding steel clasp.
