Novelties by Girard-Perregaux, dedicated to Le Corbusier
Swiss watchmaker Girard-Perregaux announces special edition watches that are dedicated to the well-known master of architecture and design Le Corbusier. Throughout his life, he traveled the world, designing buildings and even entire cities. Le Corbusier was in a group of architects, designed the headquarters of the United Nations Secretariat in Manhattan - the glass building, reinforced by elements of concrete and steel.
So, the novelties by the company Girard-Perregaux, named Le Corbusier Trilogy, is presented in a case with dimensions 36.2 mm x 35.25 mm. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal reserves the case on both sides. The novelties are equipped with automatic caliber Girard-Perregaux GP3300-0078 on the 26 jewels, 11 ½ lines, with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and a 46-hour power reserve. The mechanism is equipped with functions of hours and minutes indication.

The release of original new Girard-Perregaux Le Corbusier Trilogy watches is dedicated to three famous architect’s projects. They convey a particular style of the wizard - La Chaux-de-Fonds, Paris and Marseille.
The Vintage 1945 Le Corbusier - La Chaux-de-Fonds watch characterizes with a case in rose gold and mother of pearl dial in five shades. The model Vintage 1945 Le Corbusier - Paris is different steel case with leather strap. The handcrafted dial is a reflection of architectural proportions of the great master’s Modulor, which is based on the male figure and the golden section, as well as on the perception of light. The third version of Vintage 1945 Le Corbusier - Marseile has a steel case and dial, hand-made from a material that was not used in the watch industry - from concrete.
The models are released in a limited edition, produced only 5 items of each model.
