Vintage 1945 XXL Small Second - Steel Case, Blue dial by Girard-Perregaux

The watch brand Girard-Perregaux has unveiled a new version of its legendary model Vintage 1945 XXL Small Second.
The novelty has a steel case with a blue dial. The watch is released in two versions: with an alligator strap with a blue steel buckle (Ref. 25880 -11- 421 -BB4A) and a steel bracelet with a triple- folding buckle (Ref. 25880 -11- 421 -11A).
The polished, curved rectangular case with the length 36.20 mm and thick 35.25 mm is waterproof to 30 meters. At the 3 o`clock position, the fluted crown is placed. The face of the case is equipped with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, also mounted on its screwed back cover.

The dial is marked with applied Arabic numerals. Central hands perform time indication. The small second`s hand is put on the lateral dial at the 6 o`clock position.
The model is based on the manufacturing automatic caliber Girard-Perregaux GP3300- 0051, on the 32 jewels. The caliber, adorned with the Côtes de Genève pattern and circular graining, has a balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and a 46- hour power reserve. The screws are of blued steel.
