The famous watch brand Girard-Perregaux has released a new limited edition watch - 1966 Minute Repeater, Annual Calendar and Equation of Time. As follows from the model name, it has three complications - the minute repeater, the annual calendar and equation of time. The last complication - is the difference between true solar time and the time that the watch shows. It arises from the fact that the Earth moves around the Sun, not circular, but along the elliptical orbit.

The novelty has a round case in diameter of 42 mm, made of polished 18-carat pink gold. At the 3 o’clock position is the crown, and at the 9 o’clock position - the minute repeater start lever. The silver dial with a radiant finish has applied hour markers and hands. The window with a second’s hand is placed at the 9 o’clock position, the thumb pointer of the month is placed between 6 and 8 indexes, the analog pointer of equation of time – between indexes 4 and 5, and large analog-type calendar - between indexes 1 and 2. An anti-reflective domed sapphire crystal protects the dial. The screw-back case is made of sapphire crystal, which allows observing the work of the manufacturing movement Girard-Perregaux E09-0003 with manual winding. The caliber consists of 419 parts, assembled by 48 jewels, has a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, 100-hour power reserve, as well as functions: hours, minutes, seconds, date, month, equation of time and the minute repeater, allowing toll, quarter of hours, and minutes.
