Girard-Perregaux presents a limited edition model - DLC Titanium Bi-Axial Tourbillon
The famous watchmaker Girard-Perregaux has released a new limited edition model DLC Titanium Bi-Axial Tourbillon.
The sleek novelty is shown in a round titanium case with black DLC coating. The case diameter is 45 mm, thickness - 18.5 mm.
The matte black dial is decorated in the original design: a delightful tourbillon at the 6 o’clock position gives spectacular views. In the central part of the dial are two hands, designed to indicate the hours and minutes.
Tourbillon, consisting of 113 parts and weighs 0.80 grams, combines two concentric carriages, of which the inner makes a complete revolution around its axis in 45 seconds, and external - in one minute and 15 seconds. Rotation occurs in two separate axes. I.e., the full rotation cycle is 3 minutes and 45 seconds. Simultaneous movement of tourbillon’s two carriages, balance wheel and escapement on several axes - just perfectly work executed by watchmakers of Girard-Perregaux, which can be seen through the sapphire crystal.

On the screwed backside of the DLC Titanium Bi-Axial Tourbillon watch there is also set sapphire, followed by a visible manufactory mechanism GP E0201 with manual winding. The caliber is collected at 28 jewels, frequency - 21,600 vibrations per hour, power reserve - 72 hours. The mechanism with the inertia balance with gold adjustment screws, gold bridges, and two winding barrels is equipped with functions of hours and minutes.
The watch water resistant - 30 meters.
The novelty comes on a black leather strap with a folding clasp.
