The famous watchmaker Girard-Perregaux presents its new Girard-Perregaux 1966, made in the classic style. This is one of the most elegant models of the brand Girard-Perregaux. Compared with other watches, the novelty has an increased of 3 mm case - its diameter is 41 mm.
The case is made of white or pink gold. White dial features applied indexes, hour and minute hands of gold in the form of leaves, as well as second’s hand form blued steel. At the 3 o’clock position is placed a small aperture of the date. The brand’s logo is at the 12 o’clock position. A sapphire crystal protects the dial.
The classic look of the watch Girard-Perregaux 1966 41 mm is completed by a black leather strap without any stitching with a buckle in white or pink gold.

The new Girard-Perregaux 1966 41 mm watch is assembled on the base of a reliable mechanism instead of the previous GP4500 GP3300. It was completely designed and built in the R & D division of Girard-Perregaux. The caliber was first presented in 2006. It is considered one of the greatest mechanisms of this brand.
GP4500 caliber consists of 188 parts, has 54-hour power reserve and a frequency 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour. The diameter of the mechanism - 30.6 mm, thickness - 3.97 mm. The rotor is made of white gold, adorned with an engraving of the logo and decorated the Côtes de Genève pattern. GP4500 caliber combines design elements of the previous version 3000.
