Dominique Loiseau has joined Girard-Perregaux
A design and production team of Swiss watchmaker Girard-Perregaux company is added a star of the chronometric art. A legendary watchmaker Dominique Loiseau has joined the company.
In the Swiss watch industry Loiseau has been creating his masterpieces for over 30 years. In the International Museum of Watchmaking in La Chaux-de-Fonds, he has restored the historical collection watches and, of course, during this time has developed many well-known models. For example, the Omega watch, with central tourbillon, or the famous Blancpain 1735. His latest creation was the most complicated watch 1f4 Grande Sonnerie Complication, which manufactory mechanism has eight patents.
Dominique Loiseau himself comments on the transition as follows:
"Watchmaker Girard-Perregaux is one of the few true manufactures, which is based on a very rich history and heritage. I am very flattered to be part of this team. I'm sure in successful cooperation."
The legendary watchmaker was invited to the Girard-Perregaux for the so-called "building a think tank." His mission is not only in bringing a fresh look at development of the watch brand, but also in the development of fundamentally new complications and calibers.
CEO of Girard-Perregaux Sowind Group Sophists Michelle said:
"We are delighted to welcome host" on board "of such master as Dominique Loiseau. This is a true visionary in the watch world. But more important is the fact that it is clear and understandable to him the brand’s true value that are in heritage, passion and perfection".

I think it will be a great collaboration. It is likely to bear fruit.
