A New Vintage 1945 Tourbillion with three gold bridges from Girard-Perregaux

Well-known for its reputation of its own production sophisticated mechanisms, the famous Swiss watch brand Girard-Perregaux in September 2011 presented a new watch model Vintage 1945 Tourbillion with three gold bridges.
Art Deco style which popular in 1945, inspired the watchmakers of Girard-Perregaux to create a vintage wrist watch Vintage 1945 Tourbillion in the context of contemporary reality.
The model case with the dimensions of 36.10 mm x 35.25 mm is made of white gold. The dial features a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The caseback is also made of sapphire glass and attached to the case with four screws. The watch water-resistant is up to 50 meters.
The Vintage 1945 Tourbillion with three gold bridges is based on the manufacturing automatic mechanism 9600C with micro-rotor, made of platinum, which is mounted inside the barrel. The caliber consists of 257 units and 31 jewels.
The main components of the caliber are the rhodium coated skeletonised bridges, demonstrating their ideal design. The bridges hollowed and polished by hand. The mechanism includes a variable balanced wheel with gold regulating screws and the rhodium-plated hand-polished beveling. Its outer surface is guilloched, and the inner surface is circular-grained.
The Tourbillion is also associated with the mechanism. It consists of 72 units and is located on the carriage 12 mm in diameter. Mechanism with a balanced frequency of 21,600 vph has a 48-hour power reserve. The small seconds hand is displayed on the mechanism of the tourbillion.
The strap attached to the model is made of hand-sewn alligator skin and equipped with a clasp in white gold.
