An Improved Watch A. Lange & Söhne Datograph AUF / AB
The watch company A. Lange & Sohne has presented the first version of the model Datograph late in 1999. Today the company is pleased to present to all fans of this model the updated watch Datograph AUF / AB, which keeps all the valuable characteristics of the previous model, has found several numbers of wonderful improvements.
The new Datograph AUF / AB has an increased to 60 hours power reserve, and therefore on the dial the corresponding indicator (at the mark 6) is appeared. Actually the indication of the power reserve is reflected in the model name: AUF / AB means "full / low." The hand of the indicator is not a separate element, and simply applied to the rotating circle.
The watch mechanism of the new model is equipped with own manufactured balance unit. In the perfect mechanism is embodied a classic design of a column wheel, a precision minute instant switching and unique function of zero - flyback. That is, in accordance with the best traditions of German precision the watch Datograph AUF / AB has absorbed all the best features of the chronograph.
Datograph AUF / AB are "packed" into a luxury case made of platinum, which diameter is increased by the way to 41 mm. Big date and a couple of additional silver dials are placed as if on the vertices of an equilateral triangle. An excellent readability of its testimony is provided by a contrasting black background of the common dial. In the direction of "3 o’clock" is a 30-minute counter, and at the mark of "9 o’clock" - small seconds. By the way the hands of both counters are blue, which differentiates them from all others, improving the readability of the statement. Dimensions of the big date window the craftsmen of A. Lange & Sohne are specially adjusted to best fit to the new increased case of the watch. For this the date window is increased by 4%, giving a perfect balance to the proportions of the elements on the dial.
Previously Datograph dial was decorated by Roman numerals, and now exclusively hour markers - from rhodium -coated gold.
Additional control buttons are located in areas of "2, 4 and 10 o’clock." Datograph AUF / AB is delivered on a black crocodile leather strap.
