A. Lange & Söhne - winner of fourth awards in Vienna

A special St. Nicholas Day this year was unforgettable for the watch company A. Lange & Söhne. In Vienna, at a gala presentation, organized by the media, the general director A. Lange & Söhne Wilhelm Schmid was expected a pleasant surprise: the watch brand A. Lange & Söhne has been awarded four prizes.
The first prize in the category Grande Complication the model was granted the Richard Lange Tourbillon "Pour le Mérite", presented at this year's by the journals MunichTime and ViennaTime. For the first time in the watch industry’s history the same watch model is successfully exhibited at such major events. The watch SAXONIA THIN in the category Classic Elegance won the first place in readership MunichTime and second place - by the publication ViennaTime. The voting was attended by a total of 36 400 fans and watch aficionados. The line of watches is one of the most important in the watch industry.
The watch company A. Lange & Söhne can look back once more to a successful year. Indeed, in the spring, along with other advances two brand’s models were awarded Golden Balance Wheel by the Japanese periodical Chronos, taking first place in the voting. In November, the company founder Walter Lange was awarded the prize Caesar Best Honoris in Bucharest for his services in the watch industry. Since 1994, the watchmaker A. Lange & Söhne has been awarded more than 160 awards.
