BaselWorld 2014: Instrument CTB Chronograph by Arnold & Son
At the international exhibition of watches and jewelry BaselWorld 2014, the British watch company Arnold & Son will officially unveil a new model Instrument CTB Chronograph (Ref. 1CHAS.S02A.C121S).

Arnold & Son Instrument CTB Chronograph (Ref. 1CHAS.S02A.C121S)
This is the world’s first chronograph with the "dead seconds" complication, or “True Beat”. This complication is the following: the second’s hand does not move smoothly visually, i.e. with a frequency of 6-8 movements per second, and "jumping", as in quartz watches - one jump per second. The hand is in place most of the time, and, only when the second has passed, it jumps on one scale.
The model is presented in a round polished case with a diameter of 44 mm stainless steel. Water- resistant - 30 meters. The fluted crown, placed at the 3 o’clock position, is decorated with the Arnold & Son’s logo. The chronograph buttons are at the labels 2 and 4.
The dark gray dial with a grainy finish, closed by a convex double anti-reflective sapphire crystal, is equipped with two vertically spaced small silver dials with blued hands. At the 12 o’clock position is an additional dial with Roman numerals, hour and minute hands, and at the 6 o’clock – the second’s hand.

The mechanism is assembled on the 31 jewels, equipped with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, 50-hour power reserve, and functions of hours, minutes, seconds and chronograph.
The watch comes on a black brown alligator strap with a stainless steel buckle.
