BaselWorld 2013: HM Perpetual Moon by Arnold & Son
The watch company Arnold & Son, producing its models in Switzerland, at the annual exhibition of watches and jewelery BaselWorld 2013 will officially unveil a novelty HM Perpetual Moon. The model is made in an elegant style. As the watchmakers noted the novelty’s design inspired by a historical watch, created by watchmaker John Arnold for the king of Great Britain George III, as well as the members of his court.

The watch has a round polished case in diameter of 42 mm in 18-carat pink gold. The watch water resistant - 30 meters. The matte black dial in guilloche is equipped with applied hour markers and two central hands in the form of a sword. At the top of the dial is a large aperture, inside of which is placed the 11-mm guilloche 3D lunar disc. The moon phase indicator allows for variation in the accuracy of one day for 122 years. It also includes a second moon phase indicator, synchronized with the first. The second pointer, located on the back of the mechanism, has a special scale and the hand to fine-tune the testimony.
A sapphire crystal is set on the top of the case and on the backside. The HM Perpetual Moon watch is collected on the base of the Swiss manufacturing caliber with manual winding Arnold & Son S1512, on the 27 jewels, with a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, 80-hour power reserve and display functions of hours, minutes, and the phases of the moon.
The novelty comes on a handmade leather strap in black or brown with a folding clasp in stainless steel or 18-carat pink gold.
