Omega Ladymatic with Colored Dials at the BaselWorld-2013

At the forthcoming watch exhibition Basel-World-2013, the company Omega will present women’s models Ladymatic in the new color scheme. The novelties will be made with a dark gray, purple, pink and blue dial, guilloche with a delightful décor, wave radiating from the center. Diamonds in the faceted rim of 18-carat gold serve as the hour markers. At the 3 o’clock position is an oval date aperture. Central hands, showing the hours, minutes and seconds, are covered with fluorescent composition of Super-LumiNova, ensuring optimal reading in the dark.

Omega Ladymatic colored versions will be released in a case of steel, white, black or pink decorative ceramics between the waves and the inner case. The novelties are available on a steel bracelet or leather strap with a satin finish.

Like all other models in the series, the new Omega Ladymatic is designed based on the caliber 8520 with co-axial escapement. The co-axial escapement technology in 1999 has revolutionized the production of mechanical watches. Each similar mechanism is equipped with an exclusive silicon spiral of balance OMEGA Si 14, which provides a unique resistance to mechanical damage and environmental influence.
