The return of the legendary timepiece for pilots: a Spacemaster Z-33 Watch

The Swiss watch company Omega at the annual exhibition BaselWorld 2012 has presented a watch Spacemaster Z-33, combining the legendary design of its predecessor, and innovative technologies.
The Spacemaster Z-33 watch continues the tradition of reliability and innovation, which always are a hallmark of the company Omega.
The development of the novelty has inspired by the shape of the watch in a series of “Pilot Line”. The watch is equipped with the new multi-purpose quartz movement - caliber 5666, which is created to meet the needs of today's pilots. The new temperature compensated quartz movement 5666 provides high accuracy and functionality.
The form of the watch case is really original and it is impossible to confuse it with other watches. It is made in the tradition of the famous watches of Omega, which were designed for the pilots. With the help of advanced technologies in the model is ergonomically split into "routine" and "professional" functions.
High technology innovations are seen in the case of modern size, made of titanium Grade 5. The surface of the case is polished and sandblasted.

On the digital dial there are hands, which can be customized by the crown at the 3 o’clock position. Along the perimeter of the case are set four buttons which, together with other buttons let you adjust all the digital functions. To keep time tracking it includes date functions, Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), two time zones (a 12 or 24 hour display), alarm clock and perpetual calendar.
Past periods of time are measured in function of the chronograph and countdown timer.
The watch is also equipped with the so-called professional self-programmed pilot functions to keep up to ten logbooks and view them with the indicators "date-time."
The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, scratch resistant and with a bilateral anti-reflective coating.
The back side of the watch is decorated with the symbol of Omega in the form of the seahorse, the inscription “Speedmaster” and a serial number. The caseback is fastened with 4 screws, and its construction of "double wall" acts as a resonance chamber, amplifying the sound of an alarm clock. The watch water resistant is 30 meters.
The novelty Spacemaster Z-33 comes on a black rubber strap with the inscription “Omega” and “Speedmaster”, executed in red.
