Swiss watchmaker Omega has received the status of the official watch of the Ryder Cup 2012 from the U.S. Davis Love III captain. At this event the brand will play this role in September in cooperation with the Professional Golfers Association of America. The tournament, which is one of the most anticipated and popular events in the world of golf is a competition between teams from Europe and the United States, which is held every two years.
In honor of this event the brand has released a new model that the captain of the U.S. team and a representative of Omega Davis Love III will wear.

The novelty Seamaster Aqua Terra “Captain Watch " is presented in a circular case with a diameter of 41.5 mm in polished stainless steel with a polished bezel. Silver dial is decorated with a vertical pattern, which is a characteristic feature of this collection. The dial has a polished hour markers in white gold, polished blue hands coated with phosphor coating. Central second’s hand with yellow tip gives to the watch an original appearance. At the 3 o’clock position is the date of the aperture. Brand logo and the inscription “Co-Axial Chronometer” are made in red, which harmonizes with red marks on the minute scale.
The back side of the model is protected by a sapphire crystal through which you can monitor the work of the Omega Co-Axial 8500 mechanism with a silicone spiral.
