The largest manufacturers of watches and jewelry are preparing for the most important industry event - the annual international exhibition BaselWorld-2013, which will be held from 25 April on 2 May. On the eve of a momentous event watch brands create new models that become cult and publicly debated during the next year.

Omega Watch with Anti-magnetic Mechanism at BaselWorld-2013

Omega is no exception: at the exhibition, the Swiss manufacturer will present the new watch models, created on the basis of the mechanism of the opposing magnetic fields of 1.5 Tesla. Antimagnetic caliber is installed in the watch Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra. The innovative development of the Omega’s engineers is based on non-ferrous metals, and not on the traditional antimagnetic capsules. Several patents will protect a new approach in the fight against the magnetic field.
