Seamaster Bullhead by OMEGA

According to numerous requests from fans of the Seamaster Bullhead watch, OMEGA has re-released in a limited edition iconic chronograph. Retaining much of its original charm, the new model Bullhead with its characteristic symmetric case and bezel has a few differences that give it a special personality.

The original model Seamaster Bullhead 1969 with its very different from other models of OMEGA case and dial configuration, is one of the most rare, collectable and recognizable chronographs. The new model gives fans the opportunity to become the owner of the sample, which became an instant classic.
The brushed and polished case of the Bullhead watch, in the shape of a shield, the inner rotating bezel and the unusual layout of the buttons and the crowns make this model a favorite among fans of chronographs. On either side of the crown, above the figure 12, there are two pushers. Thanks to this unique configuration, the model got its nickname. At the 6 o’clock position there is another crown, which controls the internal rotating bezel.

The buttons on the new model Seamaster Bullhead remained at the top of the chronograph, but their shape was flat. Perhaps the most significant change touches the movement. The new model Bullhead is driven by a coaxial automatic caliber 3113, which replaced the 930 caliber with manual winding, used in a vintage model. A chronograph with a column wheel equips the watch mechanism.

The dial design of the new model Bullhead retained recognizable features of the original: the inner bezel and crowns at the zenith and nadir. As in the previous one, a date window in the new model is at the 3 o’clock position. The white dial is visible through the sapphire crystal with double-sided anti-shock protection. On the screwed back cover is depicted the famous Seamaster Seahorse. On white inner bezel, rotating in both directions, is applied the 24- hour scale. The “hour" display with white numerals perfectly contrasts with the blue- black background.

This stunning watch comes on a brown leather strap. It can withstand pressures up to 15 bar (150 meters / 500 feet) and is issued in a limited edition of 669 items.
