The Malte Tourbillon Collection Excellence Platine watch has a case with curved lines, a diameter of 38 x 48, 24 mm and a thickness of 12.73 mm, made of platinum 950. Water-resistant - 30 meters.
The elegant platinum dial is treated by sand grinding, equipped with the Roman numeral 12, hour markers and hands in white gold and a tourbillon with a second’s hand. The hour and minute hands are as if hovering over the tourbillon carriage - the "heart" of the mechanism, located at the 6 o’clock position.

The new model is outfitted with the manual winding caliber 2795, which consists of 169 parts, 27 jewels, has a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour and 45 - hour power reserve. The shape of the mechanism repeats a barrel and is ideally combined with a similar case shape. The caliber is fully developed and assembled at the manufactory of Vacheron Constantin. The tourbillon carriage, designed as a symbol of the brand - the Maltese cross, corresponds to the quality finish of the mechanism’s every detail and allows admiring manually processed chamfers. The work of the caliber can be observed through a sapphire crystal set on the case back.

To achieve the standards of finish in a rounding of the tourbillon bridges, set by the brand Vacheron Constantin, it took 12 hours for laborious manual work. This is a difficult technical problem to carefully sanded "shoulders" of the tourbillon to impart semi-cylindrical and conical shapes, and at the same time to delimit the central portion and the edge of the bridge. This technique is called in French “berçage”. For a perfectly polished surface masters use polishing stones, wooden sticks, stones and paste.
The image of the elegant watch is complemented by a navy blue alligator strap, hand silky stitch and platinum of 950, with the effect of aged leather and large square scales, as well as triple-folding clasp in platinum in the form of half Maltese cross.
