Swiss company Vacheron Constantin has announced a two-year collaboration to promote and support the high art of watchmaking in North America. North American Institute of Swiss Watchmaking NAIOSW, whose sponsor is the company Vacheron Constantin, is a branch of the Institute of Swiss Watchmaking IOSW.
In September 13, 2012, the beginning of Classes 2013 and 2014, sponsored by Vacheron Constantin, was celebrated with a special reception organized by NAIOSW president Denis Jaquenoud and president of Vacheron Constantin in North America Hugues de Pins.

The Classes of 2013 and 2014
NAIOSW was opened in 2009, in order to maintain high watchmaking and to meet the growing demand for skilled workers. Applicants are carefully selected and the result will be a course of six students who learn the secret art of watchmaking by leading educators. The company Vacheron Constantin will provide training materials, as well as after school, students will take a three-week training in the workshops of the company.
"This partnership proves once again our commitment to the values and age-old traditions of watchmaking and transmission mystique of our watchmakers. Being one of the oldest company with 200 years of supply watches in the United States, the brand Vacheron Constantin is proud to be a partner of NAIOSW and a unique opportunity to support the mission of the Institute,"- said Mr. Hugues de Pins.
