Zenith and its new Captain Winsor Annual Calendar Chronograph

Autumn of 2011 is marked by the birth of a new chronograph Captain Winsor Annual Calendar Chronograph, expanded the line of wrist watches Captain, which is produced by the famous Swiss brand Zenith. The novelty is made in an elegant style of traditional classics. The company Zenith timed the launch of the new model with the beginning of its cooperation with the Musée International d'Horlogerie - MIH, which is located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.
In 2002, a legendary watchmaker Ludwig Oechslin, who spent many years developing the mechanisms of Ulysse Nardin, became the curator of the museum. He is the developer of highly complex watches Trilogy of Time. As a result of collaboration the technology to integrate the annual calendar into the watch Zenith Captain Chronograph was developed. Subsequently, the MIH will be organized by two permanent exhibitions on the theme of seconds and hours.
The case in diameter of 42 mm is made in two versions - of a stainless steel and 18 carat pink gold. The watch water-resistant is up to 50 meters. The caseback and the dial are equipped with a sapphire crystal with antiglare coating. The central part of the dial is decorated with guilloche. Applied hour indexes and hands are coated with luminous coating.
The model is designed on the basis of the manufacture Swiss automatic movement Zenith El Primero 4054. The unique mechanism on the 29 jewels has a balance frequency of the 36 000 vph and a 50-hour power reserve. The date aperture is located at the position of 6 hours and the double aperture of the week and months is at the position of 3 hours. To ensure perfect readability of data from the calendar, three concentric disks are responsible for their show. The date is indicated by the external disk, months are indicated by the intermediate disk and the day of the month - by the internal disk. The intermediate disk is retrograde and "jumps" on the number 31. Only once, from February to March it requires the manual adjustment.
The black model strap is made of genuine crocodile skin and features with a rose gold or stainless steel buckle.
