Year of the Horse: Classico Horse by Ulysse Nardin

The famous watchmaker Ulysse Nardin, in honor of the Year of Horse by the Chinese calendar, has released a special limited edition model Classico Horse (Ref. 8156 -111 -CHEV_V5).
The novelty is equipped with an original blue dial featuring two horses. The image is made in champlevé. Different shapes, size and depth deepening is undercut on the surface of the dial with a special tool, after which they are filled with enamel of different shades. Then the dial is placed in a special oven, where it calcites, whereby the enamel is melted to obtain the desired density. The next step involves polishing the surface.
Thanks to the Ulysse Nardin`s cooperation with the company Donzé Cadrans, whose craftsmen specialize in enameling technology, the release of the enamel dials for the Ulysse Nardin watches has been going on for over 25 years . Note also that Donzé Cadrans joined the group of companies Ulysse Nardin.
In the central part of the dial are located hands, hour and minute of which are covered with white luminous material. Dot hour markers are made of gold. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial.

The Classico Horse watch is presented in a round case with a diameter of 40 mm in 18-carat pink gold. Water-resistant - 50 meters. Located at the 3 o`clock position, the crown is decorated with the emblem of the Ulysse Nardin. On the back screwed cover is set the sapphire crystal, through which is possible to observe the work of the Swiss automatic caliber UN- 815, with a 42-hour power reserve and functions of hours, minutes and seconds. The caliber is officially certified by COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres) as a chronometer. A blue alligator strap with a buckle in 18 - carat pink gold complements the image of the elegant watch.
The new model is released in a limited edition of 88 items.
