Ulysse Nardin Announces the Release of Schooner Timepiece
The novelty Schooner by the famous watch manufacture Ulysse Nardin has released in honor of the American schooner in 1851. That was the year of the first international regatta in Cowes, timed in time for the World Industrial Exposition. The Americans decided to build a new boat for the exhibition, which was called "America ". During the competition it went the best yachts in England and came to the finish line 18 minutes before anyone else. This regatta become the impetus to the creation of the America`s Cup, and the schooner entered the world history.
