Panerai PAM 389 Luminor Submersible Amagnetic

The watch company Panerai has developed a new model - Luminor Submersible 1950 Amagnetic 3 Days Automatic Titanio (PAM 389). It is characterized by a classic design that is common to all models of the series Luminor Submersible.
The novelty Luminor Submersible 1950 Amagnetic 3 Days Automatic Titanio 47mm has a polished titanium case, which established the manufactory caliber P.9000 with a 3-day power reserve. The watch is equipped by a unidirectional titanium bezel with ceramic insert and anti-magnetic properties.

As you know, the intense magnetic field can change the precision of the watch, and in some cases may even stop the movement. The special case design of model PAM 389 provides high resistance to magnetic fields up to 40,000 amperes per meter. This effect is achieved by using a special inner case made of soft iron. It surrounds and insulates the mechanism. This case is located directly under the dial, made of the same material.

The manufacturing mechanism P.9000 also equipped with a system to control the hour hand, so that it can move back and forth for an hour, at the same time changing testimonies of the data display, respectively.
The novelty PAM 389 Luminor Submersible Amagnetic comes on a rubber strap with a large buckle made of titanium. There is also a second optional strap and the tools to change it.

The model Panerai PAM 389 Luminor Submersible Amagnetic will be officially presented in 2013 at the exhibition SIHH in Geneva. To buy a watch will be available for 8900 euros.
