Panerai watch was sold for $ 326,500
In December 14, at auction Christies held at Rockefeller Center in New York, the Panerai (Ref. 6154) watch, also known as Small Egizano (translated from Italian as a small Egyptian) was sold for $ 326,500. The proposed sale price was $ 80 000-120 000. This is the highest price for a Panerai watch.

Panerai Radiomir (Ref. 6154)
The Panerai watch was made in 1954 for the Egyptian Navy. The model has a round case with a diameter of 47 mm of steel. The model is equipped by the mechanism Rolex Cal. 16, which is assembled by 15 jewels.
According to experts, the brass dial in the original was black, but because of the impact of radioactive glowing Radiomir, which is applied at the numbers and hands, it became cream.
The Small Egizano watch was acquired by the owner during a trip to Egypt. The watch was restored only in 2009.
